Sharing some pictures from the past week and The Field School's grand opening. School started today, and it is such a joy to see the halls that have been empty for 12 years filled with people and life.

For the past 7 years (through 2 phases of construction, with New Market and Historic Tax Credits) spaces+places has served as Project Manager for The Field School. Tomorrow, we celebrate the culmination of that work with the Grand Opening of this 56,000-sf historic school renovation (designed in 1905 by Dwight Perkins). If you are in the Chicago area, come see the transformation of this gem of the Westside at 517 N Parkside Ave. 2-4pm Open House and 4pm Ribbon Cutting!

We are happy to present Gateway Grove, which has just broke ground in Warsaw, Indiana. This past fall, we created the masterplan for this gem of a neighborhood in partnership with Innovative Communities and the Groninger Group. We sited 62 units on approximately 15 acres of buildable land, complete with public greens, parks, and the reuse of an existing gymnasium. We are excited to see it come to life!

We are looking forward to construction starting this fall on this sweet little project in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. spaces+places put together the design and documents for the renovation of 2,800 sf and a 400 sf-addition. More photos will be coming soon!
