Fire Prevention Week | October 5–11

Fire safety is something we should think about before an emergency happens.

Whether you’re on a construction site, in a shop, or working around your home, make sure you have the appropriate number and type of fire extinguishers readily available. Keep them **easy to access, clearly visible, and properly labeled** so everyone knows where to find them when seconds matter.

Take a few minutes this week to:-
- Check that fire extinguishers are accessible and in good condition
- Make sure fire extinguisher locations are clearly marked
- Keep areas around extinguishers free of clutter
- Make sure employees and family members know where they are located
- Know what type of extinguisher is appropriate for the potential fire hazards

A little preparation can make a big difference when it comes to fire safety.
