Some images between the rains at my trial garden at my parents home in Iowa. I’ve been working on this garden for over 17 years and always love listening to the plants and learning from them in this space.

Stopped at this residential clients home to add an extension of the garden in a corner we thought a gate was going up. It’s been a year since planted and things are looking wonderful. We added a few Anemones ‘Lucky Charm’ to add a pop of pink this time of year with all the beautiful seed heads in the sidewalk garden.

Isn’t it wonderful when clients take such good care of their gardens! Makes coming for a visit even better. So lucky to have such amazing thoughtful clients. 💚

We had a great day visiting our gardens . This is the front entry garden we designed four years ago. The design is still very strong and the fall interest is plenty! From Rhus to Solidago ‘Fireworks’, Sedum ‘Carl’, Amsonia hubrechtii, Agastache ‘Blue Fortune’, and so many other beauties.

Was a great day working with Shannon to discuss a few edits the garden needs adding that it’s missing for another beautiful season in 2027. Thankful for this continued collaboration and the crew that takes such good care of all the gardens at Midwest.
