A little behind the scenes of the design process! Here’s the crew working on one of the first steps of the design process: the site measure.

Before we begin designing, we take detailed site measurements to create an accurate map of the property. We mark buildings, pipe locations, window heights, hardscapes, sun exposure, existing garden beds… you name it! These details are crucial in getting to know the space we will be working with and bringing to life.

Curious about watering needs in your garden during this hot week in Chicago? ☀️ Here are some tips!

💧 New plants, transplants, annuals, and containers should be watered daily during this heat wave!

💧 Established plants can be watered every three days.

💧 Water in early morning or near dusk - when the sun is low. Be sure to water the soil at the base of plants, not on top of their foliage - minimize evaporation and maximize absorption!
