Cory and Athi are representing Studio GC as service associates at the IASBO Annual Conference this week!

The conference brings together more than 1,000 school business professionals and industry leaders from across Illinois for several days of learning, collaboration, and conversations about the future of school facilities, finance, and operations.

Dr. Ann Williams of School District U-46 was honored with the Calvin Jackson Career Impact Award, recognizing her lasting leadership and contributions to the school business community. Yesterday’s Grand Opening of Athens Park in Lemont was an incredible celebration of community!

It was great to see such an amazing turnout as residents gathered for the ribbon cutting, live music from School of Rock, local food vendors, and kids’ activities.

Seeing the park already being used, explored, and appreciated is exactly what projects like this are all about.

A big thank you to the Village of Lemont and the Lemont Park District for their partnership throughout this project, and to Illinois Congressman Bill Foster and Illinois State Senator John Curran for joining the celebration and supporting projects that help strengthen our communities. We’re proud to have been part of bringing this new community space to life and look forward to seeing Athens Park continue to be enjoyed for years to come.

Progress update for our Hodgkins Public Library project!

With the exterior structure now in place, the library is really starting to take shape. Inside, steel framing is underway, laying out the future spaces for youth programming, study areas, and community gathering as this 11,000 sq. ft. library continues to move forward in construction.

Inspired by prairie-style architecture and neighboring civic buildings, the design incorporates classic Midwest materials like brick and cast stone while creating a flexible interior built for how libraries are used today.

Construction on the new Public Library is making great progress. With the structure up, exterior work underway, and interior construction moving forward, the vision for this future space for learning, connection, and community is really starting to take shape.
