After a plumbing leak caused water damage across multiple areas of this Lakeview East home, the homeowner needed a full plan to stop the source, repair the damage, and restore the affected living spaces. This full bathroom transformation in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood started with identifying and resolving a leaking shower — then rebuilding the space the right way from the ground up.

Our team handled complete demolition, new shower pan construction, full waterproofing, and precision tile installation throughout — including a custom tiled shower and mosaic floor. We installed a new vanity, fixtures, trim, and lighting, while also integrating heated flooring with a dedicated electrical circuit for added comfort. Finishing touches like wallpaper, wainscoting, and paint brought the entire design together.

The result is a fully refreshed space that blends craftsmanship, comfort, and thoughtful design — built to last and made to be enjoyed every day. 🏡

Out with the old, in with the new ⚡️

This completed project in West Town neighborhood focused on cleaning up outdated electrical systems and upgrading the space for modern living.

Our team removed an old electrical box filled with unused CAT-5, telephone, and legacy security wiring, along with an in-ceiling speaker system and all associated wiring. We then ran new wiring to install a pendant light above the dining area, added a dedicated wall switch, and completed a clean, secure fixture install.

A streamlined setup, better lighting, and a space that’s now built for how it’s actually used today 💡

Built the right way from the inside out 🏡

This project in Evergreen Park went beyond a surface-level upgrade. During the process, our team uncovered underlying moisture issues and wood rot — and addressed them properly before moving forward.

We removed a wall stud and sections of the stair planks to make room for water proofing. Once complete we moved forward with rebuilding and finishing the space the right way.

The result is a space that not only looks great, but is now structurally sound and protected for the long run — because doing it right always comes first. ✨

We initially came in contact with Chicago Reno when our shower was leaking down into our neighbor’s unit, Rene came out within the week to diagnose the leak and patch up our neighbor’s ceiling. Then when it was time to start the full renovation, we worked mainly with Rene and Ivan and they were wonderful. They executed our vision completely perfectly and we couldn’t be more obsessed with our new bathroom!!! They did incredible handiwork with installing tile, heated floors, wallpaper, trim, and paint.
