Happy Friday everyone! Mud and tape underway at another one of our projects! First coat done✅️ It is important to know that when taping up a project, especially a remodel, you're always going to need more than one coat of mud to prepare for primer, then paint. We always make sure to sand after the first coat, then add a second coat and sand again. If necessary, we will do a third coat, until the entire project is smooth and ready for primer. Before/After Demolition
This week's project featured this bathroom which our client said they no longer found it visually appealing. They were skeptical of deciding to remodel it as they knew it would require tedious demolition work. However, we let them know this isn't our first bathroom demolition and will do whatever it takes to get the job done. Not only did we find out the walls had no insolation ⚠️ but also the vinyl flooring had 2 underlying layers of ceramic tile, causing excess weight on the subfloor🚩Now our client has the freedom to choose the tile and floor of their choice, all the modern amenities, as well as adding insolation which will help with moisture and temperature control. Stay tuned for the next phase of the process: drywall.

There's potential in any place of your home, no matter if it's old, dark, dusty, or simply unused. This project is a good example. An old, unused, dark, and dusty basement that is being transformed into a full use, completely remodeled basement.
