My client wanted to keep the aesthetic of the old barn but have it last. After a light wash and sand, we decided with a matte finish of the excellent Old Masters ‘Ascend Exterior’. This barn just added time to its life before replacement of boards were necessary, and detrimental deterioration could take place.
