One of the most overlooked items in a roofing quote is the number of layers included in the tear-off.
Most contractors will include removal of:

1 to 2 layers
Sometimes up to 3 layers

But if your roof has more layers than expected, this can quickly turn into a change order and additional cost.

This is why a detailed quote matters.

Before moving forward, make sure:

✔ Scope of demolition is specified
