Back At It

A couple more meter and riser swaps today for Indiana residents so we can help get their power restored. 💪⚡

These storms have caused a lot of damage, and we’re doing our part to help our Indiana neighbors get back to normal. One house at a time. 🙏

Stay safe out there!

Customer Update

I want to apologize to everyone we weren’t able to get to today. We will be back out early tomorrow morning and will continue working through everyone as quickly as we can.

To all of our Chicago customers, thank you so much for your patience and understanding. We are currently helping our neighbors in Indiana, who were hit pretty hard. We’ve been out all day replacing meters and risers to help get power restored to families who have been without electricity.

We truly appreciate your patience while we do our best to help as many people as possible. 🙏⚡️

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Homeowners often wonder: “What electrical equipment am I responsible for, and what belongs to ComEd?”

Here’s a helpful breakdown straight from ComEd showing where their responsibility ends and the homeowner’s responsibility begins.

⚡ ComEd: Service wire and meter
🏠 Homeowner: Weather head, service attachment, riser/raceway, and meter enclosure

Knowing the difference can help you understand what you’re responsible for when repairs or service upgrades are needed.
