Personality, shelved and styled. 🌿

Illuminated open shelving and a bookcase tucked at the back of the island were how we brought texture and depth into this space—each niche layered with books, greenery, and small collected objects. It's the detail that keeps the kitchen from feeling like just another white-and-blue box.

Preserving the home's original fireplace and moulding meant working around cherished architecture, not over it—paneling was custom-built to keep those details intact. Just steps away, a roll-out coffee station with retractable doors and touch-to-turn-on lighting turns morning routine into its own quiet ritual.

The range was always meant to be the star. 🔵

The original layout here was long, linear, and lacked a true focal point—function without flow. We reimagined the floor plan around a more intuitive circulation pattern, positioning the range as the first thing you see entering from the dining room. Bold blue lower cabinets against crisp white uppers make sure it lands.

Borrowing two feet from an oversized dining room unlocked a completely new kitchen — taller cabinets, a bigger work triangle, appliance garages that hide everything, and an Ann Sacks mosaic backsplash that earns every bit of attention it gets. Plus a walnut waterfall island table, because why not.
