Back to school season is officially underway, and Millstone Management Group completed summer work in several school Districts this year. Now it's time to welcome Millstone kids back to school! From kindergarteners through high school, college students, and even a teacher, welcome back all to another fabulous school year!

The weekend weather may not have been agreeable, but what was amazing was our end-of-summer Millstone Family Picnic! Bringing together some of our families to enjoy food and fun on a gloomy afternoon was something we won't soon forget.

Today was a fantastic day celebrating the ribbon cutting for Found Surface. Our Millstone team was proud to bring together their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility where Found Surface creates organic and natural fiber-based private label clothing, all made here in the USA. Being invited back to see our clients settled into and enjoying their new facility is always something we’re proud to be a part of.

An afternoon puppy break in the office? Productivity never stood a chance in that moment. I think we can all agree that a puppy pick-me-up is the best excuse to hit pause and soak up the happiness that only a fluffy new friend can bring.

Please join us in welcoming Katie Kafarakis to the Leadership Geauga Board of Directors!

Katie is the President/Owner of Millstone Management Group and a proud graduate of Leadership Geauga's Signature Adult Program, Class of 2026. One of her favorite memories from the program was the overnight retreat, where she formed meaningful connections with her classmates that have grown into lifelong friendships.

Leadership Geauga had a lasting impact on Katie, both personally and professionally, and inspired her to give back by serving on the Board of Directors. She is excited to support the organization's continued growth, strengthen its impact throughout Geauga County, and become involved in a new way.

Katie's favorite leadership quote comes from Carol Dweck: "No matter what your current ability is, effort is what ignites that ability and turns it into accomplishment."

When she's not working, Katie enjoys traveling, cooking, and hosting special gatherings for friends, family, and colleagues. She especially loves Geauga County in the summertime, spending time hiking local parks, exploring nature, and taking part in community events throughout the county.

We're grateful to have Katie's passion, leadership, and enthusiasm on our Board, and we look forward to the impact she'll make in the years ahead!
