**The Insurers are Alright**
People feel guilty filing a roof claim, like they're taking advantage of something. They're not. Look at the numbers.
State Farm alone made $12.9 billion in PROFIT last year… more than double what they made the year before. They collected $111.6B in premiums, paid out $78B in claims, and still walked away with a $1.5 billion underwriting profit on top of that. Their net worth grew by $25 billion in one year, to $170 billion total.
Progressive made $11.3 billion. Allstate made $10.2 billion, more than double their prior year. These aren't companies scraping by on thin margins — they're posting some of their best years ever, right as premiums keep climbing and homeowners keep hearing "we can't afford to pay that claim."
You pay for this coverage every single month whether you use it or not. If a storm damaged your roof, that's exactly what the policy is for. Filing a claim isn't gaming the system…
.It’s the system working the one time it's supposed to.
