Another great example of where a mini split heat pump is the right solution.
Mr. Strickland recently moved into a home in Chester and noticed the HVAC system struggled to keep up, especially in the addition. After inspecting the system, we found the addition had been tied into the existing ductwork with only a couple added supply runs, but the original heat pump and duct system were still sized for the original home layout.
After performing a load calculation, it was clear the existing system simply was not designed to properly heat and cool the added space. Instead of recommending a complete system replacement and major ductwork modifications, we discussed more practical options and determined a mini split heat pump would be the best fit for the addition.
This solution was intentionally recommended for both cost effectiveness and energy efficiency — providing the additional heating and cooling capacity the home needed without the expense of replacing the entire HVAC system.
Another happy customer and another home made more comfortable the right way.
