Masonry block walls are officially going up, bringing the next phase of the project into view. Once complete, the new CMU will be painted to match the existing building—creating a seamless transition between old and new.

For David, that means taking one more look at dock door dimensions before construction documents head out the door. From truck type and dock equipment to clearances and apron slope, getting those details right helps ensure the facility functions just as efficiently as it was designed to.

Progress is taking shape in Montgomery, Alabama.

The main terminal building at R+L Carriers’ new facility is going up, bringing this 42,800-square-foot project one step closer to completion.

Once finished, the expanded facility will feature a 67-door terminal, a six-bay maintenance building, new fueling infrastructure, additional trailer and employee parking, and an expanded office—all designed to support R+L Carriers’ continued growth and regional operations.

More progress to come as construction moves forward.
