Lobularia, or Sweet Alyssumā€”one of those plants thatā€™s always in mass at garden centers and nurseries, seemingly year-round. Itā€™s a fantastic little ground cover or container plant that spreads out and blooms almost nonstop. The honey-scented flowers attract pollinators, soften garden edges, and fill in those bare spots. In my dry Zone 9 garden, I keep these in afternoon shade with moist soil so they continue looking green with continuous white, pink, purple, and lavender blooms.šŸŒ±
