After 46 years of serving the Lake Almanor area, the time has come for us to announce our retirement.

Effective July 29, Slusher Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric will be closing as Connie and David Sr begin this next chapter of life.

This decision was not made lightly. For nearly five decades, we have had the privilege of serving our community—working in your homes and businesses, meeting generations of families, and building relationships that have meant more to us than words can express.

To every client who trusted us, called us back year after year, referred friends and family, waved to us around town, and supported our business through the years: thank you. Your loyalty, trust, and friendship have been the foundation of everything we’ve built.

Lake Almanor has been more than the place where we worked—it has been our home, and serving this community has truly been an honor.

As we step into retirement, we do so with gratitude and many wonderful memories.

Over the course of 3 days, Slusher Plumbing has identified a
reoccurring problem with a residential sewer line. Old non-compliant piping. A non-compliant welded patch, covered with mortar and hidden under an old patio.
Sewer obstruction cleared. Removal of improper original repair. Installation of proper fittings, giving the occupants relief that will last another 60 years!
