Septic repair in Cheshire CT. We were initially called out to diagnose a backed up septic system, upon further investigation we determined the existing drywell to no longer be functioning(see picture #2).

We conducted soil testing and determined the criteria for the repair. Luckily the soils were ideal for a replacement septic system. 1” per 10 minute per rate and no soil restrictions were exactly what we needed for this tight lot. We had to contend with property lines and an above ground pool.

The new septic system consists of a 1250 gallon New England's Concrete Company septic tank and 30’ of Eljen Corporation Yardfilter YF95 leaching units. 🤝👊 onto the next one

Another new construction site package we wrapped up a few weeks ago in the south end of Cheshire.

We started this site in early March with the foundation dig/backfill, footing drains, and prepped for concrete and rough grading. You can scroll back a few posts to see how this project started!

We came back to trench and install electrical conduit. We trenched and installed the water meter pit and 1” water service. We installed the septic system which consisted of a 1000 gallon New England's Concrete Company septic tank and 2 70’ rows of stone and pipe. Old school 😎 septic system. The driveway was rough graded with process and the propane tank and line were dug, set and sanded. Lastly the grading got fine tuned, the rain garden for the gutter drains was dug and we spread on-site topsoil.

We are on a roll this summer with another septic system completed! This system was for AJ Waste’s newly rebuilt commercial building where they rebuild and repair dumpsters right in our hometown of Cheshire.

This system consists of a new 1250 gallon H20(vehicular rated) septic tank and 2 24’ rows of 12” H20 galleys with 1.25” clean stone.

4 Bedroom septic replacement in Cheshire CT. When we first came out to evaluate the septic system when it was found to be overlevel. We exposed the D-Box and determined that the D-Box and leaching fields were 3” higher than the outlet of the septic tank (how it worked for as long as it did I have idea 🤷🏻‍♂️). We tried to see if we could raise the plumbing to install a new tank and that wasn’t possible. We then conducted soil testing to determine the criteria for the repair. The backyard was absolutely garbage material with a 40 min plus perc rate. Since this home is on city water, we then decided to soil test in the front corner of the property. Sure enough, we found much better material with an 1inch per 10 minute perc rate and a restrictive layer of 40”.

The area where we tested had its’ challenges. The electrical service was running right where the septic needed to go. Trees were removed and stumps dug out to make way for the new electrical service and septic system.

The septic system consists of a 1250 gallon Infiltrator Water Technologies septic tank and 42’ of Geomatrix Systems LLC 6218 leaching fields.

Thank you HBCG for continuing to put trust in us on your projects. 🤝

Tricky lot with no room and A-typical ledge but we got it done! We were called out originally to inspection the septic system, upon inspection we discovered the drywell was no longer receiving water causing the system to back up. We conducted soil testing to determine the criteria for the repair. The soil testing resulted in a 1 inch per 10 minute per rate. One test pit showed no restriction while the other showed some A-Typical ledge. We designed a code compliant septic system and were just able to squeeze it in.

This 4 bedroom septic system consists of a 1250 gallon Infiltrator Water Technologies septic tank and 1000 gallon pump chamber. 100 ton of C33 septic sand was trucked in and had to be moved one bucket at a time with the skid steer. The leaching fields consist of 55’ of Eljen Corporation Yardfilter YF53 leaching units.

Screened fill was imported and spread to backfill and create the slope since this system is out of the ground. Homeowners are handling the topsoil and seed themselves.
