π³ Why Do Some Trees Change Color Before Others?
Ever notice one tree in the neighborhood turning red or yellow while the tree next to it is still completely green?
That's normal.
Different species respond differently to shorter days and cooler temperatures. Even trees of the same species can change at different times based on sunlight, moisture, location, and overall growing conditions.
Fall color isn't controlled by the calendar. Your trees are responding to what's happening in their individual environment.
So when one tree decides it's October and its neighbor is apparently still celebrating July, don't panic. π
