🔥 Before you turn on the stove, take a quick look around your kitchen.

Are dish towels and paper products away from the burners?
Are pot handles turned inward?
Is the area around your cooking appliances clear?
Are your smoke alarms working?

And once you start cooking, stay nearby and keep an eye on what’s happening.

This Fire Prevention Month, make these simple habits part of your everyday cooking routine. A little preparation can help prevent a small mistake from becoming a much bigger problem. 🏠💙

🔥 When a fire happens, the damage can go far beyond what you can see.

Even after the flames are out, smoke and soot can affect belongings throughout the home, while water and moisture from firefighting efforts can create additional damage.

That’s why fire recovery often involves more than addressing the areas directly affected by the flames. At Blue Kangaroo Packoutz, we understand how important it is to care for the belongings impacted along the way.

Stepping up and showing out for a powerful cause! 💖 This year marked our very first time participating in the Bra-ha-ha, and we had an absolute blast letting our creativity shine while decorating our very first bra art piece for breast cancer awareness. Even better, we weren’t in it alone—a huge thank you to Blue Kangaroo Packoutz of Chesapeake for showing up, stepping up, and supporting our community every step of the way. Together, we’re helping fund life-saving mammograms and breast health resources right here at home! 💕✨ ArtWithAPurpose
