Gerry and Jennifer's training for the big Rim-to-Rim hike has kicked up a few notches!
At the start of the month, they completed a successful hike at the Grinnell Glacier Trail in Glacier National Park, Montana. This was an 11-mile trail with over 3,200 feet of elevation gain, but with such beautiful views and wildlife, it was definitely great motivation throughout the trail. A week later, they hiked Roan Mountain, TN, near Banner Elk, covering 5 miles with over 1,300 feet of elevation gain. This was their final training hike before they set out to "Conquer the Canyon" this Thursday!
There is still time to help them reach their fundraising goal. So far, they have raised enough funds for World Vision USA to provide clean water to 685 people. They are hoping to reach 750 people, which requires an additional $3,250. For every dollar donated toward this remaining $3,250, Gerry and I will match it dollar for dollar, doubling your impact!
