Founded as the Riggs-Linthicum Company in 1909, our original charge mission was to represent manufacturers in the sale of materials for “buildings, railroads, and other purposes.”

Over the years, Riggs Distler helped construct some of the most notable buildings in the United States, including the Empire State Building, the U.S. Supreme Court, the Federal Reserve Building, the Library of Congress,

the Internal Revenue Service headquarters, The Breakers Hotel, the National Constitution Center, and hundreds of power plants, government facilities, refineries, and industrial facilities throughout the eastern United States. In 2021, we joined Centuri Group, Inc., a comprehensive utility infrastructure enterprise serving gas and electric providers across North America. Our 100 years of experience stand behind Centuri’s 100-year plan and vision for long-term sustainability. (A Centuri Company), remains a Maryland-incorporated company with headquarters in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and numerous branch offices up and down the Eastern United States. The numbers are in, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, participants and donors, we surpassed our $150,000 goal, raising $180,000 to support CityTeam Chester/Philadelphia Area's mission of transforming lives throughout the Greater Delaware Valley.

In just four years, Day on the Green has raised nearly $375,000 to help CityTeam provide food, shelter and life-changing programs to individuals and families in need.

Lighting the Way Along the Jersey Shore

From evening strolls on the boardwalk to nights out with family and friends, reliable streetlighting helps keep New Jersey's shore communities safe and welcoming. In Wildwood, Ocean City, and Sea Isle City, our streetlighting team worked hard to ensure residents and visitors can continue enjoying everything these iconic destinations have to offer.

Crews replaced photocells and bulbs, installed new LED cobra head fixtures, repaired faulted wiring, and troubleshot electrical issues to restore lighting across all three communities. In total, the team restored more than 50 streetlights, improving visibility, enhancing public safety, and supporting reliable infrastructure in some of New Jersey's most visited coastal destinations.

While many were enjoying the Independence Day holiday weekend, our crews were out across the Northeast helping restore power after powerful storms moved through the region.

Working long hours through the heat, they partnered with local utilities to get the lights back on for residents and businesses as quickly and safely as possible.

We're proud of the work they do and the commitment they show every time communities need them most. A big thank you to everyone who answered the call this week. Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed!
