๐ A Day on a Roof with BiteGuard Mosquito & Pest!
You might be wondering why Iโm spending my day on a roofโฆ and the answer is carpenter bees.
These bees found their way behind the siding and started drilling into untreated wood on the backside, creating tunnels where they can lay their eggs. While carpenter bees are important pollinators, they can cause significant damage when they nest in homes, sheds, decks, and other wooden structures.
A single female carpenter bee can create multiple chambers inside a tunnel and lay eggs that develop into the next generation of wood-boring bees. Left untreated, those galleries can continue to expand year after year.
Today, weโre treating this area before the problem gets out of hand and causes more costly repairs down the road. Early detection and treatment can make all the difference when it comes to protecting your home.
