Making more beeswax wraps today, these are fresh off the line! Plastic does not preserve the freshness of your food and can leave harmful residue and microplastics in everything you ingest! Wraps are made with organic cotton, organic Jojoba oil, organic beeswax, and pine resin from trees on the homestead. We will have various sizes of wraps available for purchase next month. Please message if you are interested!

Good Morning, beautiful friends!
I'm anxiously awaiting a shipment of seeds from MiGardner as well as trays for seed flats and seedling heat mats. I am so excited to have a longer growing season now that we have the greenhouse! This will be our first time starting such a large quantity of seedlings. Our greenhouse has been a HUGE blessing and a real game-changer in our quest to produce enough food to sustain us in the winter months!

Welcome, friends! I created this page so I could share goings-on here at the Homestead with interested parties, sell/barter goods, and generally focus on all things related to sustainability, self-reliance, gardening, small scale farming, and faith! We started this adventure in 2015, and every year has seen new projects, additions, successes, and failures. We have learned so much and want to encourage others our local community who may be hesitant to get started on their own journey!
