Back to regularly scheduled programming 👷🏼‍♂️🚧

This has by FAR been our busiest season yet! Check out some of the projects we've been working on lately. A lot of jobs, a whole lot of dirt, concrete, and long days - just how we like to enjoy our summers! (But we don't mind the crisp morning air lately) 🍂🍁

We've been a little quiet around here lately and for a good reason! We stepped away from the job site for a few days to finally celebrate our marriage with our closest family and friends.

Owning and operating O'Shea's is about a lot more than concrete and excavation. It's our family, livelihood, and something we're incredibly thankful to build every day. We're grateful for every customer who trusts us with their projects and every person who chooses to support our small business.

A honeymoon doesn't exist during busy season - now back to the job site!

We don't take jobs like this for granted. One day it's a foundation, the next it's helping one of the North Country's most recognizable landmarks. 🌡️ Did You Know? Hot Weather Can Affect Concrete.

High temperatures cause concrete to cure much faster, leaving less time to properly place and finish it. If it’s not handled correctly, the heat can lead to:
✔️ Surface cracking
✔️ Shrinkage
✔️ Reduced strength
✔️ Poor finish quality

That’s why timing, proper curing, and experienced workmanship matter—especially during the summer months.
