Caleb Harbison’s career with Adman didn’t happen all at once. It happened one step at a time.
He started with Adman just weeks after graduating high school. He came in as a helper, went through the apprenticeship program, earned his license, started running jobs, and continued taking on more responsibility as the years went on.
Looking back, Caleb doesn’t point to one single moment as the highlight of his career.
For him, every new step was one.
Running his first job. Getting his first company vehicle. Becoming a general foreman. Each one meant he had grown a little more, earned a little more trust, and was being rewarded for the work he had put in.
It’s a good reminder that sometimes the biggest parts of a career don’t feel big while you’re living them. They’re the small milestones along the way that eventually show you just how far you’ve come.
After 26 years, Caleb has also learned that being good at this trade is about more than knowing how to do the work.
It’s about paying attention.
You may know yourself, your habits, and what you need to do to stay safe, but you also have to be aware of the people working around you. On a jobsite, someone else’s decision can affect you just as quickly as your own.
That awareness comes with experience, and it’s the kind of lesson worth passing down to the next generation.
Caleb has spent more than two decades growing with Adman, taking each new opportunity as it came and continuing to move forward.
Twenty-six years later, there are a lot of steps to look back on.
