PEST ALERT! Spotted lanternfly adults are out in GA now. This invasive insect can make a mess. Trees ooze fluids from SLF feeding, and SLF excretes sugary fluids, causing sooty mold growth. They won’t bite, but they can be a nuisance by gathering in large numbers. You can help combat lanternflies by tracking this pest population. If you see one: 1) Take a photo; 2) kill the insect, & 3) report it here: https://warnell.cc/ReportSLF

Be on the lookout for bagworm bags on juniper, arborvitae, spruce, pine, cedar and lots of other conifers and deciduous plants.
