🥾 These boots are made for building.

At AIS Infrastructure, our best days start with boots on the ground. 👷‍♀️

Construction is not clean and that is the point. The work is real. The impact is real. You show up, gear up with PPE, step into the mud, and build what communities rely on. 🦺⚠️🏗️

AIS Infrastructure recently welcomed students from Carrollton City Schools’ RaLin Construction Academy for a tour of the Dog River Dam and Reservoir project.

Programs like the RaLin Academy are helping build the next generation of construction professionals by giving students real-world exposure to the industry and the opportunity to develop practical skills that can translate directly into their careers.

During their visit, students had the chance to see the scale and complexity of infrastructure work up close, connect classroom learning to real-world application, and gain a deeper understanding of the role projects like Dog River play in supporting local communities.

Experiences like this are an important part of investing in the future of the industry and creating opportunities for the workforce of tomorrow.

Infrastructure is easy to overlook when it’s doing its job. That’s part of what makes it so important.

As part of National Infrastructure Week, today’s focus is on strengthening the systems communities rely on. At the Dog River Reservoir, AIS Infrastructure crews are working to reinforce and expand critical water infrastructure that serves the Douglasville community.

This project isn’t about starting from scratch. It’s about stewarding an essential resource. By upgrading and reinforcing existing systems, this work will significantly increase long term water capacity and help preserve a reliable water supply for the people who depend on it every day.

Infrastructure doesn’t just happen. It happens because of people.

This video highlights just a few voices from the AIS Infrastructure workforce, offering a glimpse into the teams who show up every day to plan, build, and support the work that keeps communities running.

This is a snapshot of the people behind the work, and the pride, and teamwork they bring to it every day across AIS Infrastructure.

National Infrastructure Week | Day One

At AIS Infrastructure, we’re proud to support the foundational systems that people rely on every day without always seeing the complexity behind them.

National Infrastructure Week is an opportunity to pause and recognize not only why infrastructure matters, but the people who show up every day to serve something bigger than themselves.
