This is another example of why we proudly market ourselves as THE local “Insurance Claims Specialist”.

It also highlights why having a properly licensed professional involved in the claims process matters. Anyone can promise to "fight" for your roof when a carrier says no. The difference is having the legal authority, knowledge, and credentials to effectively address claim-related issues when they arise.

Because I am legally permitted to communicate with adjusters regarding policy and claim matters, the conversation goes far beyond simply submitting an estimate. When claim handling concerns, policy interpretation issues, or regulatory violations are identified, those matters can be addressed directly and professionally instead of being dismissed as the opinion of "just a roofer."

Credentials matter. Knowledge matters. Representation matters.

I’ve stood in the shadows for the last 5 years since I became a licensed Public Adjuster. Now I’m taking my seat at the head of the roofers being an Insurance Claim Specialist table! I am THE local “Insurance Claims Specialist”! 😬

There’s a saying “If you’ve got it, flaunt it”. Well, I’ve got it, I’ve had it for years, so it’s time to flaunt it! Since I’ve spent most of the night straightening out a claim someone butchered, I feel I have the right to do so.

From the beginning, our motto has been “Roofing the RIGHT way!”. We have strived to not only install the best roofs possible but we wanted to ensure we did so legally.

Towards the end of 2020, our lawyer advised that the Tennessee law demanded a roofer to be a licensed Public Adjuster to legally solicit, aid, advise, assist an insurance claim. By February 2021 we acquired the license number 3001219977.

You have a roofer knock on your door, he is soliciting. He tells you that you have damage and you need to file a claim, he is advising you. He communicates with the adjuster and removes tabs to go for testing, he is aiding the claim. He negotiates on your behalf, he is assisting the claim.

All these are outside their legal capabilities unless they are an actual licensed Public Adjuster.

Choose who you want to use! But, think about this as it is happening frequently. When the adjuster completely stops communicating with your roofer due to them being unlicensed after their promises of “we fight for you”, are you prepared to handle the claim on your own? How can you truly trust someone that is working illegally from the 1st time you meet?

Ask your “claims specialist / expert” for their Public Adjuster license number!

With us, all of the above fear is removed as we ARE sticking to our motto of “Roofing the RIGHT way!”
