Chattanooga Dock Builders offers residential and commercial dock construction and repairs, we also offer boat lift and jet ski lift installation. We service Chattanooga, Tennessee River, Chickamauga Lake, Nickajack Lake,
Harrison Bay and the surrounding areas.

One part of the process that we don't showcase too often is how much travel is involved. Our customers are located on the waterfront so we have to get to them by land and by lake. So this is just a small glimpse into what traveling between job sites on a barge looks like.

Think "dry weight" is enough to size your boat lift? Think again!
A boat with a 6000lbs dry weight doesn't take into account fuel, ballast tanks, gear and the weight of the lift equipment itself. Get a lift too small for what you need and you're risking constant repairs or even replacement.

These stairs turned out so nice, built on this nearly 45 degree sloped hill surrounded by the woods with the dock and water waiting for you at the bottom. It's all about the journey.

Remember these frames? đź‘€ From the shop to the shoreline, watch these dock frames go from raw lumber to lakeside install. All that's left now is roofing and it's a done dock.

The barge travels around 7 mph at max speed, which doesn't sound very fast until you're flying and trying to land a drone on it. It got home safely, but I did have to grab it rather than land it.

A newer member of our team, all the way from Texas, its James Weaver. His favorite pastime is eating copius amounts of fruit, and fighting his boss. We don't talk about fight club.

A unique job for us, over 100ft of stairs on an incredible incline. But Weavers leading the way on this project with our crew, the percussion section of the marching band. In all seriousness, this projects gonna be a cool one so keep an eye out for the after video.
