A closer look at the details of Transitioning to Modern, and there are a lot of them.
This Porter Ranch home in the Westcliffe development by Toll Brothers needed an outdoor space as refined as the house itself. Clean lines, warm materials, and a design that works just as hard for quiet evenings as it does for a full family weekend.
Here's what went into it:
A reverse infinity edge pool lifted to capture the sprawling valley views. The zero-edge spa mirrors the fire feature after dark, one of those moments you just have to see in person.
Raised planter walls with sheer waterfalls that light at night. Resort-style daybed platforms with downlighting. An outdoor kitchen built to actually be used.
At the design center, our client chose natural stone and marble in warm earth tones. Proof that modern doesn't have to feel cold.
The front "walk across water" feature stopped the neighborhood in its tracks. Their words: "People stop in front of our home and take photos all the time."
Magnolias, olive trees, gardenias, hydrangeas, jasmine, iceberg roses. Fragrance and color through every season.
From 3D design through final planting, this one had it all.
