Up Scapes the Central UP’s premier landscape service provider is seeking qualified applicants for a Landscape Maintenance Crew Member or Leader.
This position could be flexible enough to work around the typical seasonal college class schedule and/or be year-round if the applicant possesses skills in residential remodeling/construction.
Job Responsibilities:
Mowing and trimming lawns, using zero turn mowers and string trimmers.
Pruning and trimming trees, shrubs and hedges.
Caring for established landscapes by mulching, weeding, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, walls, and hardscapes.
Gathering and removal of leaves and debris from lawns to include blowing, raking, bagging, etc.
Giving priority to customer service
Promoting safety and maintaining a safe work environment.
This is an active position requiring stamina to work outside with a team, as well as independently.
This position includes working at and on both high end residential and commercial job sites completing work.
The employee will be exposed to the normal noise levels associated with power driven equipment.
Education: High school graduation or GED equivalent required
Job Requirements:
Experience using power equipment
Valid driver's license
Ability to safely lift 50+ pounds
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Some overtime
Occasional Saturdays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
