With more that 40 years of experience, Advantage Coating Inc. is a leader in the commercial concrete floor coating industry. We specialize in urethanes, epoxies, acrylics, Electro Static Dissipative coatings, conductive, secondary containment coatings and concrete polishing. We also do large-scale joint and crack repair on concrete floors. Authorized to use most major suppliers, including Tennant, BASF, Dur-a-Flex, Sherwin Williams and Florock. We are able to meet most customers needs.

Food safety is critical, and a durable, compliant flooring system is essential to maintaining a clean, safe facility. The customer also needed a color that would help minimize the appearance of hard water staining.

Our crew installed a 1/4" urethane cement flooring system in Light Gray over 4,621 square feet, providing a durable, seamless surface designed for the demands of the facility.

Advantage Coating recently completed a 10,000-square-foot polished concrete project at a large manufacturing facility. The customer needed a durable, attractive, and easy-to-maintain flooring solution capable of handling the demands of daily operations.

Project Scope
• Approximately 10,000 square feet
• Full concrete preparation and mechanical polishing system
• Progressive grinding and polishing through 800-grit
• Concrete densifier application
• Final protective treatment and high-speed burnishing
• Detailed edge work and consistent finishing throughout the space

The Result
The finished floor is durable and easy to maintain, with greater light reflectivity and a clean, uniform appearance. Its polished surface enhances the facility and withstands heavy foot traffic and daily operations.
Following the successful completion of the initial 10,000-square-foot project, Advantage Coating was awarded an additional 40,000 square feet of polished concrete work at the same location.

Another great flooring project completed in a locker room at a food processing facility!

This project featured a double broadcast epoxy shop floor system with 4" cove base, designed to provide durability and long-term performance in a demanding environment.

This Medical Center project featured 1,500 square feet of Sherwin-Williams Resuflor Trowel Quartz System paired with 300 lineal feet of 6” cove base in Icicle Quartz. The result is a durable, sanitary, and easy-to-maintain flooring system built to meet the demands of a healthcare environment while delivering a bright, professional appearance.

Project Spotlight | Winery ✨

9,000 square feet of high-performance flooring completed using a Sherwin-Williams clear flooring system.

To preserve the concrete's clean, natural character, the client selected a clear finish that highlights the existing surface rather than covering it—and the final result brought that vision to life.

This project also included saw cutting and filling joints with Metzger McGuire RS 88 joint filler for a seamless finished appearance.

With more than 200 lineal feet of floor drains throughout the space, extra time, precision, and attention to detail were devoted to delivering crisp lines and a sharp finished product.

We applied Sherwin-Williams Macropoxy 646 in Slate Gray at the Water Treatment Plant as part of the customer’s ongoing remodeling project and floor coating upgrades. The customer’s goals were to protect the concrete floors from chemical exposure, improve durability and ease of maintenance, and brighten the overall appearance of the space. The selected coating system provides a clean, updated finish while helping support long-term performance in a demanding treatment plant environment.
