We understand with significant amount of snow and wind we have coming it is expected to cause power outages.

We do recommend charging your electronics now so they are full for the possibility of an outage later tonight into tomorrow.

Make sure your generator if portable has fuel and a safe spot OUTDOORS. Never put a generator inside a garage or house.

If you do experience a power outage. You can check your supplier such as national grid to verify the outage and the expected time for return. Please contact us if there is damage to any wires attached to your home as National grid/supplier will repair the wires at the electrical pole.

Make sure with snow accumulation make sure to shovel out your dryer vent outside so it’s not covered.

Our staff will be home tomorrow due to the snow accumulation and expected unsafe driving conditions but Brian will be out if needed for an emergency.

❄️ Massachusetts Extreme Cold & Generator Safety Tips

With prolonged, bitter cold and extended power outages across MA, generator safety is more important than ever.

⚠️ Generator Safety Reminders:
• Never run generators indoors or in garages — carbon monoxide is deadly
• Keep generators at least 20 feet from doors and windows
• Only use heavy-duty, outdoor-rated extension cords
• Let generators cool before refueling

⚡ Cold Weather Electrical Tips:
• Avoid overloading outlets and power strips
• Space heaters should always be plugged directly into the wall
• Watch for flickering lights or tripping breakers
• If something doesn’t feel right — call a licensed electrician
