Work on UVA Health South Tower Floors 6-8 continues to progress steadily as our team follows a top-down construction sequence and remains aligned with Barton Malow's schedule. On the 8th Floor, in-wall inspections are complete and crews are focused on overhead tie-ins, home runs, electrical room rough-ins, fixture can installation, and cable tray installation. Floors 6 and 7 are advancing through in-wall rough-in, with prefabricated rack installation complete and electrical room buildout and branch circuit work ongoing. Through proactive planning, strong coordination, and strategic manpower allocation, we've stayed ahead of trade congestion, creating a safer and more productive jobsite while maintaining momentum. Extensive BIM coordination, shop drawing reviews, material procurement, and collaboration with project partners continue to support the project's success. With major equipment and lighting packages released, the team is well positioned for the next phase, and their dedication, adaptability, and commitment to quality remain key drivers of progress.

A new Verizon Wireless site is taking shape in Rustburg, Virginia, where our team is working to expand wireless coverage for Verizon customers throughout the area. The scope of work includes installing an equipment H-frame, concrete pads for site equipment, power and telecommunications conduits, and tower-mounted sector frames that will support the wireless antennas and radio units. From the ground infrastructure to the tower-mounted equipment, our team is proud to play a role in building the networks that keep communities connected!
