The 2026 Builders Blitz is about more than building a house. It's about helping create a home for a local family.

Over the past several weeks, Myers & Chapman employees have joined SteelFab and Habitat Charlotte Region volunteers at the Habitat warehouse to help build wall panels for a future home.

Next up is Build Week, October 19-23, when volunteers from Myers & Chapman and SteelFab will be back on site helping move the project forward.

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered so far. We're looking forward to seeing even more of the M&C team get involved in the weeks ahead.

Union Day Charter School is building its next chapter.

Just months after celebrating its first graduating class, the Weddington public charter school has broken ground on a $12.7 million academic and athletic expansion designed to support its continued growth.

Expected to open in fall 2027, the new facility will add seven classrooms, including a science lab and dedicated music and art rooms, along with a regulation basketball court, a strength and conditioning room, expanded parking and additional play areas.

We are proud to serve as general contractor alongside Berkeley Consulting Group and WGM Design as Union Day School creates more space for students to learn, compete, create and come together.

A hot topic for a hot week. ☀️

With summer in the South doing what it does best, our Lantern project team recently held a safety standdown focused on heat stress: how to recognize it, prevent it, and keep an eye out for each other when temperatures climb.

Then Incentive Drywall made it even better by treating everyone onsite to pizza afterward.

Another healthcare project complete! Novant Health Berewick is an 8,500 SF primary care clinic featuring bright interiors, modern finishes, and a clean, efficient layout.

Myers & Chapman completed the building shell and full interior build-out, including exam rooms, clinical support spaces, and administrative areas. The finished clinic brings together a clean, efficient layout with a fresh, welcoming environment for patients and staff in Charlotte’s growing Steele Creek area.
