Ever wonder how sand ends up inside an industrial floor? 👀

We just kicked off the urethane cement phase on a 93,000 sq ft industrial project, starting with a 32,000 sq ft room. 💪

Photo 2: See the guy standing in the wet floor? He's not stuck. 😄 He's running a hose connected to that orange hopper on wheels, which is loaded with broadcast sand. He shoots the sand right into the fresh coat so it locks into the floor and builds texture and grip.

Urethane cement is made for facilities that take a beating: heavy traffic, impact, chemicals, and big temperature swings.

To keep things efficient from the very first batch, we custom fabricated our own mix stations: mixers on raised, custom-built frames, materials staged right alongside them, rolling drum carts, and protected, taped-off work lanes.
