Even a well-maintained screened porch can begin to look worn when the screen stretches, tears, or pulls away from the frame.

For this project, I removed the old screening and screen trim, cleaned the frame of leftover material, and installed new screening around the entire porch. I also replaced the screen on the entry door.

The new trim pieces were painted before installation to match the existing porch. One section was surrounded by overgrown plants, so the screen had to be stretched and secured with extra care to avoid damaging the new material.

After the replacement, the porch looks clean and well maintained again, and the outdoor sitting area is protected from mosquitoes and other insects.

Recently, I worked on assembling and installing a large decorative chandelier for a dining room.

Chandeliers like this are not something you see every day. The main challenge is not only hanging the light fixture, but also taking the time to assemble it carefully and make sure it is properly supported.

This model weighs about 48.5 lb and has more than 180 glass pieces. Each piece had to be installed by hand with extra care to avoid damaging the glass and to keep the chandelier looking even and balanced. The glass assembly alone took about two hours.

I also checked the ceiling support and added extra reinforcement so the chandelier could be installed securely through the ceiling electrical box and ceiling joists.

In the end, it became a beautiful accent above the table, adding warm light and a noticeable update to the room.

Pets bring a lot of joy to a home, but sometimes they also leave behind a few reminders of their puppy years.

In this home, a puppy damaged more than ten outside corners of MDF baseboards. Since every damaged corner was different, I used a combination of two-part epoxy filler and wood filler to rebuild each one properly. After shaping the corners, everything was sanded and locally painted.

In many situations like this, there's no need to replace the entire baseboard. Local repairs can often restore the damaged areas while saving both time and money.

Sometimes a single visit is enough to solve several problems around a home.

For this project, the homeowner asked me to replace several rotten deck boards. The damaged boards were carefully removed and replaced with new pressure-treated lumber, precisely fitted and securely fastened.

The project also included replacing a damaged metal mailbox. The homeowner had already purchased a new one, but after removing the old mailbox, it became clear that the lower wooden support had completely rotted away. Instead of replacing the entire post, I built a new lower support using leftover deck boards from the same project. Everything was carefully fitted, sealed, and securely installed. The homeowner plans to paint the new wooden section black later to match the new mailbox.

Projects like this show that a well-planned repair can often restore a structure without the expense of replacing everything.

Recently completed a professional Goalrilla CV60 basketball hoop installation in the Charlotte area.

This project was completed in two stages. First, the location was prepared, the anchor system was installed, and the concrete foundation was poured according to the manufacturer's requirements. After the concrete reached the required strength, the pole, tempered glass backboard, rim, and protective padding were installed.

Front Door Restoration Project Completed in Charlotte, NC.

Over time, sun exposure and weather conditions can take a toll on even a high-quality wooden front door. In this project, the original finish had faded significantly, leaving the entry door looking worn and outdated.

After careful surface preparation and professional exterior painting, the front door received a completely refreshed appearance while maintaining its original character.

Over time, garage door weather seals start losing flexibility. The rubber becomes stiff, stops sealing tightly against the door, and can crack over time, allowing dust, moisture, and outside air into the garage.

For this project, I replaced the old worn garage door trim with a new premium weather seal featuring a flexible rubber insert for a much tighter fit around the entire garage door opening. The new trim also gives the garage a cleaner and more updated appearance.

As an extra service, I also performed a quick maintenance on the garage door system — lubricated the rollers and the opener drive mechanism. Simple maintenance like this helps reduce wear and keeps the door operating more smoothly over time. I did this for the customer free of charge as a small bonus.

Just finished a full bathroom remodel in Charlotte.

This was a client-designed project — all tile, panels, and materials were selected by the homeowner. My role was to handle the full installation and make sure everything was done properly and came together the right way.

After removing the old tile, it became clear the walls were not level, so the first step was correcting the surfaces. That part takes time, but it makes a big difference in the final result.

Then I installed GoBoard waterproofing and moved on to tile installation. The project included several detailed areas like a built-in niche, the window section, and transitions between different materials.

In the end, the bathroom turned out clean and modern, and the client was very happy with the result.
