Ferebee Corporation, a division of King Asphalt, is helping bring Metro Air Business Park to life in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Our work on this two building industrial development includes:
• 14,008 tons of recycled concrete base
• 6,994 tons of asphalt
• 10,015 linear feet of 18 inch curb and gutter

King Asphalt Family Day 2026 was a full success! 👑🎢

This year, we had an even bigger turnout as employees and their families from across all of our areas came together for a great day at Carowinds. With transportation provided from each area, our teams had the chance to step away from the everyday work, enjoy some rides and laughs, and spend time with people we don’t always get to see.

Days like this are a great reminder that Family isn’t just one of our core values—it’s part of who we are. We work hard together, and it’s just as important that we take the time to have some fun together, too.

A special day for Ferebee Corporation and King Asphalt as we celebrated the opening of our new Gastonia plant with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

We were grateful to be joined by the Mayor of Gastonia, local officials, and members of the community.

As Gaston County continues to grow, so does the need for strong roads and infrastructure. This new plant will help us better serve the area and support that growth for years to come.

We’re thankful to be part of this community and excited for what’s ahead.

Our Charlotte Division (Ferebee & Rock Hill) gathered for an Independence Day cookout today with 16 oz. ribeyes, all the sides, and time spent together as one team.
