Kicking off Careers in Construction Week by continuing the celebration of the people who make our industry possible. đź‘Ź

As we begin Careers in Construction Week 2026, we’re taking the opportunity to keep the recognition going and shine a spotlight on the incredible installers and teams we had the pleasure of celebrating at our 2026 Charlotte Installer Appreciation Event.

From the people in the field bringing projects to life to the teams working behind the scenes to make it all happen, there are countless people and careers that keep our industry moving forward.

This week, we’re celebrating the craftsmanship, dedication, and hard work that goes into building the spaces and communities around us, while recognizing the many career paths and opportunities that make construction such a rewarding industry to be part of.

Thank you to our installers, subcontractors, and industry partners for everything you contribute. We’re proud to celebrate you this week and always.
Happy Careers in Construction Week 2026! 🦺👏

Every great corporate space comes down to the details, and we had a blast bringing this multi-surface scope to life.

From laying down a showstopping, large-pattern herringbone wood plank, to installing custom porcelain tile countertops and backsplashes, our team touched just about every surface in the building.

We wrapped up the project with artistic accent tile, floor-to-wall restroom tiling, and heavy-duty acoustic carpet in the corridors and back-of-house spaces to ensure the whole floor plan looks and performs at its best.

Executing clean transitions across so many different materials takes real craft, and we couldn’t be prouder of how this one came together.

Our 2026 Charlotte Installer Appreciation Event was another opportunity to recognize the incredible installers who are at the heart of our industry and a critical part of everything we do at Garmon & Company.

Their skill, craftsmanship, hard work, and dedication are what turn plans and products into finished spaces.

We make it a priority to celebrate our installers year after year because we simply couldn’t be who we are without them. They are an essential part of our team, our industry, and our success.

To all of our installers: thank you for what you do, the pride you bring to your work, and the countless hours you put in to make it happen. We appreciate you, today and every day.

Here’s to another great year of celebrating the people who make it all possible!

participated in Fashion Bash for the first time this year! This event brought the Charlotte design community together for an evening of creativity, collaboration, and fun.

Participating architecture and design firms were challenged to create runway-worthy fashion inspired by an artwork of their choice, using only materials provided by event sponsors.

We had a great time getting creative with materials we know so well, from fabric and laminate to carpet and wall tile. We saw incredible designs from our fellow A&D firms across Charlotte!

A big thank you to the organizers, our sponsors, and every firm who participated in making this such a memorable celebration of art, design, material, and community. We look forward to next year!

A look back at four great days hosting Abby and Sophie for Mohawk’s Sales Academy with Garmon and Company!

We were proud to host these two recent college graduates as they begin their careers with Mohawk, giving them an inside look at the dealer side of the flooring industry and the opportunity to experience what happens behind the scenes from a dealer’s perspective.
From shadowing our team and exploring our project lifecycle to seeing how products move from purchase order to warehouse, installation, and ultimately a finished project, the experience was all about connecting the dots.

Our goal was to help Abby and Sophie better understand the customers they’ll serve, gain valuable insight into the day-to-day operations of a flooring dealer, and see firsthand how the products they represent come to life. We hope the experience gives them a stronger foundation to grow into successful vendor representatives and trusted partners to dealers like Garmon and Company.

Thank you, Abby and Sophie, for spending four days with . We loved having you here and sharing our industry with you!
