Every part of this home was designed with connection in mind.

Large openings, covered outdoor rooms, and carefully planned gathering spaces create a seamless relationship between the interior and exterior. Whether it's a quiet evening on the porch or a weekend with family and friends, the home is designed to support both.

That's the value of building with purpose.

A lot changed over the course of this project.

What began as an outdoor addition turned into a full rebuild, shaped around how the home would be used every day. Open, connected spaces, easy access to the outdoors, and a layout that keeps everything working together.

This room brings all of that into focus.

A project that required more than just construction.

Full gut renovation, custom metalwork, integrated features, and carefully sourced pieces layered throughout. Every detail was considered as part of the whole, not in isolation.
Completed in a historic building during COVID, the process demanded problem solving from start to finish.

That’s where experience makes the difference.

Good building extends beyond the property line.

Projects like this require thoughtful coordination and careful ex*****on, especially in an established Charlotte neighborhood where every decision affects the homes around it. From protecting neighboring properties during construction to delivering a home designed for a growing family, every step mattered.

That's the responsibility that comes with building in close-knit communities.

A space that feels both refined and easy to use.

Everything is where it should be, from the materials to the fixtures, without overcomplicating the design. It’s a balance that makes the space feel complete without feeling overworked.

Light doesn’t stop at the ceiling here.

The glass floor creates a connection between levels, allowing natural light to pass through and shift the way the space is experienced throughout the day.

It’s one of those details that you notice immediately.

There’s a clear structure behind a room that feels this relaxed in a historic building.

The architecture sets the framework, allowing materials, color, and artwork to layer in without feeling disconnected. Everything has a place, even when it feels more flexible.

That balance is what holds the room together.
