Another cabinet transformation complete! ✨

Cabinet painting is one of those projects where the process matters just as much as the final color. To achieve a beautiful, factory-like finish, we never cut corners. Every project receives the time and attention it deserves from thorough preparation to spraying all doors, drawer fronts, and cabinet frames.

These cabinets had previously been resurfaced, but they were brushed and mini-rolled, leaving behind a textured finish. We refinished them using a professional spray application for a smoother, more durable surface that’s built to last.

The cabinets were finished in Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel in “On the Rocks”, while the walls were painted “Snowbound” for a clean, bright contrast.

Quality is in the details, and following the right process is what delivers results our clients can enjoy for years to come.

Thinking about updating your cabinets? We’d be happy to help bring new life to your kitchen.

🏡 Just Bought a Home? Now Is the Best Time to Paint. 🎨

Many homes are sold “as-is” or quickly touched up to help them show better, but once you move in, the flaws become noticeable.

At GW Painting, we always recommend painting before moving in. An empty home allows our team to work more efficiently with proper prep, ladder movement, floor protection, and detailed finishes, all with less disruption to your daily routine.

Our process includes:
✔️ Floor protection
✔️ Removing switch plates
✔️ Surface prep & repairs
✔️ Clean, organized workflow
✔️ Safe access to high walls & ceilings

Painting before move-in helps save time, reduce stress, and gives your new home a true fresh start.

Another exterior in the books and this one was a full brick transformation 🏡🎨

Brick painting is all about the prep. Done right, it not only looks incredible but holds up for years to come. Our team took the time to properly prep, apply using spray and back-roll method, and use the right products for a long-lasting finish.

For this home, we used:
• Loxon XP on all brick siding (ideal for masonry and built to breathe)
• Latitude Exterior on soffits, fascia, gutters, and downspouts for durability and smooth coverage

The homeowners went with Greek Villa (SW 7551) across the home, giving it a clean, timeless look. To make the entry stand out, they chose Cloudless (SW 6786) for the front door, the perfect pop of color 💥

Another full interior project wrapped up by our team 👏

The homeowners had just moved in and were ready to make the space truly feel like theirs. The previous owners had taken on the painting themselves, but it left behind visible roller marks throughout the home — something we see more often than you’d think.

No judgment here… painting is a lot harder than it looks without the right tools, products, and technique. That’s where we come in.

We focused on proper prep, smooth and even application, and delivering a clean, professional finish that completely transformed the space.

Now it finally feels like home. 🏡✨

As the weather starts warming up and exterior projects begin to ramp up, it’s also the perfect time to refresh the inside of your home. Whether you’re just moving in or have lived there for years, we’re here to provide a seamless, stress-free experience from start to finish.

💥Another exterior transformation completed by our team!💥

This stucco home hadn’t been painted in over 35 years since it was originally built and it was more than ready for a refresh. Stucco surfaces are extremely porous, meaning they absorb significantly more paint than typical siding like vinyl or cement board. Because of that, proper product selection and application are critical.

For this project, we applied three coats of Loxon XP, Sherwin-Williams’ premium coating designed specifically for masonry. Loxon XP is thicker than standard exterior paints, allowing it to bridge hairline cracks, resist moisture, and provide long-lasting protection against the elements. It’s built to expand and contract with the surface, which is key for stucco durability over time.

☀️🏡The homeowners went with a clean, earthy palette:
• Superior Bronze (SW 6152) on the main body
• Quiver Tan (SW 6151) for a subtle accent
• Extra White (SW7006) on soffits, trim, gutters, and downspouts to tie everything together

A full prep, the right products, and attention to detail make all the difference on projects like this. Another home brought back to life.

Our team just wrapped up our first exterior of the year and we couldn’t be more proud. 💥🤌🏽

This home hadn’t been painted since it was built in 2002, and the original siding had severe fading, leaving behind a chalky residue just from running your hand across it.

Exterior painting isn’t just about color, it’s all in the prep!

We pressure wash all surfaces, work with ladders over 40ft, seal all siding joints, soffits, and trim, mask windows, remove downspouts, and take care of any necessary repairs before paint even touches the home.✅✅✅✅

The homeowners went with Benjamin Moore Stonington Gray (HC-170) for the siding, paired with Extra White on all soffits, fascia, and trim for a clean, timeless look. The front Patio ceilings were painted in Atmospheric SW6505

All surfaces were finished in satin, giving it durability, moisture resistance, and an easy-to-clean finish.

If your home is starting to fade, chalk, or show signs of wear, now’s the time to get ahead of it before the summer heat kicks in.

Our team just wrapped up painting a condo for a client getting ready for move-in! Timing was crucial; movers, WiFi, and closet installers were all scheduled for the following week, so we prioritized the project to make sure everything stayed on track. Game on! 💪🎨

Educational moment: This condo was built in the 1960s, which means the walls are plaster, not modern drywall. Plaster walls tend to have more texture and can reflect light unevenly, which makes product and sheen selection especially important.

For this project we used Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint in a flat finish. The flat sheen helps reduce light reflection and softens the appearance of plaster texture, giving the walls a more uniform and elegant look.

The color palette came together beautifully throughout the condo: Shiitake (SW 9173) on the wall unit, Neutral Ground (SW 7568) throughout the main living areas, kitchen, office, hall, and master bath, Tradewind (SW 6218) in the hall bath and son’s bedroom, and White Truffle (SW 6029) in the master bedroom.

You might not need to paint your house this year

With warmer weather around the corner, many homeowners start planning exterior paint projects☀️🏡.

But before calling a painting company, even us at GW Painting, we always recommend one important first step: have your home professionally pressure washed🧼.

Over time, homes collect mildew, mold, pollen, dirt, and debris that can make paint look worse than it actually is. A proper wash reveals the true condition of your exterior.

Sometimes a cleaning is all your home needs. Other times, it exposes areas where the paint has truly failed and it’s time to plan a paint project.

While we wash surfaces as part of our painting prep, a full exterior wash is best handled by companies that specialize in it and have the proper equipment. We’re always happy to refer trusted local pressure washing partners we work with.

📩If you're planning exterior work this spring, feel free to reach out for a recommendation or to schedule a consultation after your home has been cleaned!
