WCNC Charlotte featured the working farm at The River District this week. Plans call for a team of about five full-time farmers, greenhouses, and a building to clean, process, and store each harvest. Produce, eggs, and other local goods will be sold at a community market nearby. The farm will also give residents a place to learn how to grow their own food.
