☕️ As the school year quickly approaches, we at GJK know better than anyone how important a cup of coffee is in maintaining morning routines.

While the kids are scrambling to get ready for school and the dogs are barking to be let out, use this space to take a moment just for yourself. Bring the serenity of cozy coffee shops to your home with your own luxury coffee bar kitchen installation.

With built-in outlets for countertop appliances and hidden storage for coffee pods and mugs, these kitchen additions don't take up extra space, but create more functional workspace. And the best part is, every GJK design is custom-built to suit your needs and lifestyle.

For many families, July marks the turning point of the summer. The relaxed pace of the season begins to give way to preparing for the months ahead. With a new school year just around the corner and the first hints of fall on the horizon, it's the perfect time to start checking off the projects you've been meaning to tackle, including the home improvements you've always dreamed of.

This year, that sense of looking ahead feels fitting. This Independence Day is especially meaningful as our nation celebrates 250 years of freedom, resilience, and opportunity. It's a time to reflect on the values that make a house a home: family, community, hard work, and the memories created within its walls.

At GJK Remodeling, we're grateful to help Charlotte area families create homes that better fit the way they live today. Whether it's a kitchen for gathering, an addition for a growing family, or a space designed to age in place, we're proud to help homeowners invest in the place they call home.

From our family to yours, we wish you a safe and happy Fourth of July as we celebrate 250 years of the American spirit and continue creating a Life Remodeled.

Warmly,

The GJK Remodeling Team ♥️ 🤍 💙

Two-tone cabinetry is having a moment, and for good reason. 🏠✨
Pairing a warm natural wood on the uppers with a moody slate blue on the lowers and island creates depth, dimension, and a kitchen that feels custom without looking overdone. Add white quartz countertops, brass hardware, and globe pendants, and you've got a timeless design that won't date itself.
The built-in bar area with glass-front cabinets, interior lighting, and a wine fridge takes it a step further. Proof that a great remodel thinks beyond just the cooking zone.
💡 Design tip: Using two cabinet colors? Keep your countertop and backsplash neutral. It lets both tones breathe without competing.
