This customer has had one of the "big box" plumbing companies coming out multiple times throughout the year to clear blockages in the main sewer line. It wasn't until they received a very large 5 figure estimate from them that they decided to ask around and with the help of a coworker, they gave us a call
We ran our sewer cable through the clean out at the house to clear the line and drain all the water and waste out to make the camera inspection as accurate as possible. With the use of the sewer camera, we could see a section in the pipe that was compromised, a broken joint near the city lateral.
We were able to restore service temporary service to the customer while waited for 811 to come out and locate the front yard.

With multiple lines utilities marked, we carefully excavated the area and indeed found that the 4" PVC broken at a tee. It was wrapped in caution tape as if it were broken when the house was built and they tried to bandage it to get by.

All that was cut out and removed and properly put back with new PVC and a clean out.

We compacted to soil with a gas-powered jumping jack to avoid the area settling and possibly breaking the pipe again in the future.

We were able to complete the work and save the customer literally thousands compared to the "big box" guys!

We now offer trenchless water line replacement. We are able to dig a small hole where your water line enters your house, usually in a natural area, like a flower bed or we can access the water line from the crawl space to begin.
Then we just need to dig a small hole in front of the city meter or well to access the beginning of the system.

We are able to pull up to 100' of new PEX line without having to dig a new trench and destroy all your hard work.

It’s finally complete. 5 days, working 9pm-6am to install this new duplex grinder system for a long time customer that was finally tired of maintaining a failing sewer system.
*280 linear ft of multi layered asphalt cut
*5x dump truck loads of asphalt removed
*8x loads of hydro-vac’d soil removed
*52,800 lbs. of stone back fill
*One happy customer

It’s not our favorite time to work but sometimes we have to make exceptions for the greater good. Our customer didn’t want to shut down their restaurant while we replace the sewer line and install new pumps, so we are working during their closed hours from 9pm - 7am for the next couple of days.

With the use of the hydro vac, we were able to cut a much smaller hole in the driveway than the excavator requires to make this repair and didn’t disturb the original fragile clay terra cotta pipe.

Thank you for the show this weekend Belmont! The St. Patrick's Day bar crawl & karaoke kept us very entertained on Saturday while we replaced the sewer line for this customer on N. Main St.

Special thanks to P.P.C for coming out and using their hydro-vac to soft dig this area between buildings. 811 had marked natural gas and power in our area and the property owner said a 2" galvanized water main was also nearby. They were able to safely expose all the utilities and clear the way for us to use our excavator safely and more efficiently to prep for repairs. These are our new go to guys for hydro excavation.

This Myer's Park customer has nice yard with irrigation lines and their domestic water line running through our excavation area. To avoid any unnecessary damage with an excavator, we decided to hydro-vac the area. We cut out the previously installed clean out that was improperly installed years ago by a "big box plumbing company" We installed the correct bidirectional "bull horn" PVC clean outs. These will allow access to the home side and to the city side of the clean outs.
We removed all the rock and debris from the ground and filled the area in with new stone and topped with new topsoil. Very minimal damage and with some new grass seed, will never know we were here.
Another happy customer in the books!

Be attentive to any noises around or under your property. You may have had a line freeze and break but didn’t notice right away because its frozen but now that the temps got above freezing, those lines may be thawing out and be pouring water like this customer. They didn’t realize it was leaking, the neighbor called and told them something sounded wrong. If so, turn your water off and give us a call.
