Last week, we officially wrapped up Kwest Group’s 2026 All-Hands Training!

Each year, Kwest team members come together in person to connect, share company updates, reinforce our safety standards, review benefits, and focus on the mental, physical, and financial well-being of our team.

This year’s All-Hands took us to Columbus, Charlotte, and Austin, bringing our teams together across the country for important conversations, learning, and alignment.

This weekend, our team attended the CAGC Construction Summit & Expo in Asheville, NC, where Kwest was honored to receive the CAGC Community Impact Award.

This award recognizes companies that go above and beyond to make a difference in their communities. We were recognized for our regional holiday food drive, where our team came together to help provide meals for 50 families.

Thank you to the Carolinas AGC for this recognition, and thank you to every Kwest team member who helped make it possible. We're proud to make an impact both on and off the jobsite. 💚

Congratulations to Ryan Odendahl, on being recognized by Associated Builders and Contractors for his continued leadership and service to the construction industry.

From workforce development and safety to advocating for the merit shop, Ryan has dedicated countless hours to helping move our industry forward. His passion for investing in people and building strong teams is reflected not only in the organizations he serves, but in the culture he has helped create at Kwest.

We're proud to see his commitment recognized and grateful for the leadership he brings to our employee owners every day.

ABC recognizes and thanks Ryan Odendahl, CEO of Kwest Group, for serving as the Mid-America region vice chair of Associated Builders and Contractors. Odendahl has served ABC in multiple national and local roles, including serving as a former chair on both ABC National’s Workforce Development and Health and Safety committees. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Northern Ohio chapter, where he also served as chair in 2018 and 2019.

Odendahl served two enlistments as a U.S. Marine, later transitioning into industrial construction with a background in environmental science and safety.

He has been with Kwest Group—a heavy civil contractor—for 25 years, progressing from project manager to partner to president and CEO. Under his leadership, Kwest Group has expanded from a regional firm into a nationally recognized company serving the energy, rail, industrial, petrochemical, defense and infrastructure markets. Now a 100% employee-owned company, Kwest Group was named the 2024 ABC National Contractor of the Year.

Odendahl also serves on the Board of Trustees of the National Center of Construction Education and Research and the University of Findlay and is active with the Young Presidents Organization. He earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental and hazardous materials management and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Findlay.
