Shannon Miller, a licensed general contractor in North and South Carolina, is president of Miller Home, LLC. He founded the company in 1992 after working for five years with a commercial contractor in Charlotte. As a site engineer, he was involved in such projects as the Hyatt Hotel, Charlotte

Motor Speedway and the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. Miller has degrees in business and building construction technology from Purdue University. He and his family live in the Lake Wylie area. They take a personal interest in their community and the neighborhoods in which he builds.

This Fort Mill kitchen got a complete refresh, and it's the custom details that really bring it together.

From the new cabinetry and refinished hardwood floors to the unlacquered brass fixtures, every element was selected to create a space that's both beautiful and built for everyday use. One of our favorite additions is the new bay window, bringing in an incredible amount of natural light throughout the day. Details like the built-in countertop drain beside the sink and the custom countertop and backsplash detailing, designed to mirror the cabinet leg profile, reflect the level of care that went into every part of this remodel.
