Before & After | A Thoughtful Transformation

A beautiful transformation that honors the past while embracing a more refined, timeless aesthetic.

The original arched window served as the inspiration for this primary bathroom renovation, influencing the architectural details and creating a sense of balance throughout the space.

An oversized built-in tub was replaced with a sculptural freestanding soaking tub, while custom arched cabinetry introduces warmth, symmetry, and thoughtfully integrated storage. Soft marble, natural wood tones, and carefully selected finishes bring a quiet elegance to the room.

Get rid of the outdated warm tile and bland tones. The result is a light-filled retreat where original character and modern luxury come together effortlessly.

It might look like a perfectly good home from the outside… but sometimes “good” isn’t the same as right for you.

The choppy layout, awkward transitions, and spaces that just didn’t function the way this family needed made one thing clear: instead of trying to force the existing home to work, it was time to start fresh.

So we’re tearing it down and making room for a custom dream home designed around the way they actually live.

Over the next few posts, you’ll get an inside look at the transformation of this one-story condo into a two-story luxury residence. Let’s break it down.

This renovation was massive - which also makes the before and after photos a bit harder to fully appreciate at first glance. Originally, this space featured a simple kitchen with a large soffit that concealed the home’s ductwork and mechanical systems. To completely reimagine the layout, we removed the entire kitchen and soffit, opening the space all the way up and creating a second level above.

The result is a stunning library overlooking the main living area, complete with a balcony that connects the two floors and enhances the open-concept design.

Behind the scenes, this transformation required extensive planning and coordination. Existing ductwork and mechanical equipment had to be relocated to make way for the new structure and maximize every inch of space. What was once a standard one-story condo is now a one-of-a-kind luxury home designed for both function and architectural impact.
