đż Repair it⊠or replace it? Thatâs one of the most common questions we get about water heaters.
The truth is, not every water heater needs to be replacedâbut sometimes, repairing an older unit just doesnât make financial sense.
Here are a few signs it may be time for a replacement:
đ§ Your water heater is 10â15+ years old
đ§ Youâre running out of hot water faster than you used to
đ§ You notice rust-colored water or corrosion around the tank
đ§ Itâs leaking from the tank itself
đ§ Youâre paying for frequent repairs
If your unit is newer and the issue is something like a heating element, thermostat, or pressure relief valve, a repair may be all you need.
At Queen City Heating, Air & Plumbing, weâll never recommend replacing something that can be repaired. Our job is to give you honest advice, explain your options, and help you make the decision thatâs best for your home and your budget.
