What do a hissing gas line, a damp basement, and a worn-out dishwasher hose have in common? They're all quiet fire and safety hazards hiding in plain sight, and most homeowners walk right past them every day.

This Fire Prevention Week (Oct 4–10), we're pairing your smoke detector check with four plumbing safety checks that matter just as much:

• Flush your water heater
• Know the signs of a gas leak
• Test your sump pump
• Inspect your appliance supply lines

Which one are you checking first this week? Tell us in the comments, and if it's been a while since your last plumbing inspection, that's your sign. Schedule yours today. 👇 https://pbiservices.com/contact-us/

You'll never see it once the walls go up, but rough-in plumbing is the foundation every fixture in your home depends on.

Before drywall goes up, our team installs and pressure-tests every pipe, drain, and vent that will carry water through your home for decades. One misstep at this stage can mean major (and costly) fixes later; that's why our QA team holds every rough-in job to the same strict standard, on every home, every time.

At PBI, we don't cut corners on what you can't see. Because what's behind the walls matters just as much as what's in front of them. That's the difference prefabrication, a proven process, and 45+ years of experience make.

There's no better feeling than earning a customer for life.

When Lauren reached out, she had already been let down by other companies. So when our team stepped in for her toilet repair, leak detection, and pipe repair, we did what we always aim to do: get it right the first time and stand behind our work. Honesty. Reliability. Treating every family like our own—that’s not just how we work; it's who we are.

A special thank you to Thomas, Larry, Matthew, and CJ for taking care of the Zalenski family. This one's for you.

Thank you, Lauren. We're proud to be your trusted plumbers for life.

Today is World Alzheimer's Day, a day to recognize the millions of families across the Carolinas navigating this disease, including many in our own PBI and Poole's family.

In about a month, our team will walk alongside them at the Walk to End Alzheimer's with the Alzheimer's Association. For us, it's not just about showing up on October 24th; it's about standing with our community, our employees, and our neighbors who carry this journey every day.

Want to walk with us? Join our team on Saturday, October 24th — https://act.alz.org/site/TR?fr_id=19763&pg=team&team_id=1050902

The right way isn’t always the quickest way; it’s the way that lasts.

Achieving precision on the first try isn’t just luck; it’s a result of discipline. Our team combines meticulous craftsmanship and decades of shared expertise in every project, whether it’s a quick repair or a full commercial build.

This is what “dedicated” looks like in the field: work that exceeds expectations and stands the test of time.

When you do it right, you only have to do it once. 👊

This month, we are highlighting someone who has been part of the PBI family for over a decade: Luke Judd, one of our Phase Managers.

Luke has been with us since 2013, more than 13 years, and recently earned recognition as a PHCC Rising Leader. When you ask him what he loves most about his job, he’ll tell you it’s the fact that things are always changing. He is constantly learning something new and takes great pride in passing on his skills to the crews, teaching them the tips and tricks he has picked up over the years.

One of his favorite memories is helping to install plumbing in the tiny homes built for families affected by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina. That type of work is the kind that stays with you. 💙

Luke believes PBI is truly a place to learn and grow, a team that always strives to improve, both on the job and at home. Thank you for thirteen fantastic years, Luke!

Great partnerships start with trust and show up in the details. 🎥

In our latest partner spotlight, Tom Standish of Classica Homes shares what it's like working with the PBI team on some of Charlotte's most sought-after new home communities.

From prefabrication precision to a QA process that catches what others miss, we're proud to be the plumbing partner that builders like Classica trust to help bring their vision to life.

We asked our team one simple question: "Why do you love working at PBI?"

The answers all pointed to the same two things: the people and the environment.

That's been true since Bob Price founded PBI in 1977, building a culture centered on treating people like family. Nearly 50 years and two generations later, that commitment hasn't changed.

We're proud of the plumbing systems we build across the Carolinas. We're even prouder of the family we've built to do that work.
